Sparkplug Trainings and Summits |
| Both at our Learning Center in upstate New York and in other locales,
The Rensselaerville Institute brings emerging sparkplugs together
for intensive training and early project experiences. |

| We believe that sparkplugs have an itch to act. Rather than offering
many classroom hours, we quickly get people into projects where
learning can be immediately applied. We love to work with foundations
to support sparkplug trainings in their region, often asking the
non-profits they support to identify promising and emerging volunteer
leaders. |

| We also convene sparkplug summits—both annually at our Learning
Center and regionally. Case in point: Texas, where some 40 sparkplug
leaders responsible for achieving water and wastewater improvements
in the Rio Grande Valley convened. |
